Serving as the lead technical resource, while training/manages members daily
of the Telecom team in organizational policy, encouraging safety culture
policy and procedures, transport, fiber network and troubleshooting data
networks. Continuing knowledge on current and changing technology and
industry standards Relied upon to resolve problems and proactively
streamlining maintenance and repair process to reduce human and environmental
outages by identifying preventive measures with efficiently communicating
results to department director and personnel. Consistently assigned ownership

rotation. Managing estimates for capital improvement projects. Influenced and
collaborated on architectural improvements and design for backbone networks
of various sized projects from start to completion. Coordinated with systems
partners to finalize designs and confirm requirements. Procurement of
equipment and material as needed for project completion. Demonstrated ability
as Liaison with proven track record to coordinate with Key Stakeholders as-in
Government, Vendors, Customers, and Contractors in several departments while
multitasking to ensure project completion. Consistently working with multiple
contractors on fiber, site construction, ROW repair and tower builds. Compete
POP site builds, including customer locations. Installing and maintaining
various types of equipment (Sonnet, DWDM, PLC, Ethernet, T1, and AC/DC Power
Plant) build out cable fiber jumpers, db25, db9 and cat5/6. Keep and update
accurate records of splice data, maintenance, GIS Database, ESRI and OTDR
results. Install/maintain SCADA/RTU, Transport, Ethernet, DWDM, OSP, FTTH,
POTS, OCR, AMR, and two way radio. Fiber splicing, underground, aerial plant
construction including emergency restoration of power and facilities while
maintaining the security of business assets. Trouble shoot and repair all
equipment and fiber on the network.
